Our two-part Precision Rifle Hunter Series will instill you with the tools and confidence you need to ensure an effective shot on the animal of a lifetime.

Make your next hunting trip a memorable one by learning valuable skills from the precision rifle shooting professionals at Snowy Mountain Rifles. We offer two long-range shooting classes designed to accommodate both beginners and seasoned precision rifle hunters. No matter your level, you will leave this course with new experience and skills.

Each class is geared toward hunting scenarios and shooting, from prone shooting to standing tripod, and everything in between, so you can enter the field with confidence. The rifle shooting classes are scheduled back-to-back. He’s also an accomplished international hunter and competition shooter in the Precision Rifle Series, National Rifle League, Western Precision Rifle League, and benchrest competitions. Paul brings real-world experience from long-range hunting scenarios to the competition circuit.

Logan Summers

Logan’s enthusiasm for long-range shooting led him to a career in the military, where he served six years in the Air Force with two deployments. Since then, he’s dedicated his time to competitive shooting, guiding rifle hunts, and building rifles. With a background in engineering, Logan specializes in understanding the technical aspects behind how and why rifles work.

Ethan Rodgers

Hailing from the mountains of Appalachia, Ethan has spent most of his life in the woods. An efficient and effective marksman, he enlisted in the Marine Corps, where he served five years with two deployments. During that time, he took up shooting training and instruction, and now uses his expertise to help shooters of all ages and experience levels develop the confidence and skills they need to excel in the field.

Justin Myers

Justin grew up hunting and fishing, which led to a lifelong passion for shooting and firearms. He served 20 years of active duty in the Army as an Infantryman and with the 82nd Airborne Division as a Jumpmaster, where he did two combat deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq. Justin spent two years as a Drill Sergeant, teaching thousands of soldiers how to shoot, and is now a Small Arms Master Gunner and a Marksmanship Master Trainer. In 2019, he represented the U.S. Army at the Army Operational Shooting Competition. Justin is currently an Army ROTC Instructor at the University of Montana, where he trains tomorrow's Army officers and runs the Grizzly Strong Pistol Team.

DISCOVER WHAT SETS SNOWY MOUNTAIN RIFLE APART

At Snowy Mountain Rifle Company, we believe in precision from the start — in other words, that accuracy and reliability stand before all else. This mentality applies not only to our custom long-range hunting and precision rifles, which are created using advanced machining processes to hold the tightest tolerances available, but also to our Long Range Academy.

Compared to other training programs, our Hunter Series supplies all the equipment participants need for the course, including a Snowy Mountain Rifle custom rifle and custom loaded ammo. We require participants to use our rifles for this program to ensure that our time is focused on curriculum and accuracy. If you own a Snowy Mountain Rifle custom rifle, you may bring it to the course.

The terrain at our facility replicates real-life environmental conditions, giving participants the opportunity to test out their newly acquired skills in unique and challenging angles and conditions. Our facility is also conveniently located just 45 minutes from the Missoula International Airport, 10 minutes from the Snowy Mountain Rifle shop in Hamilton, and close to the Ravalli County Airport.
